Illuminandia Monopoli: when the square lights up with magic... right in front of my atelier
At Christmas, Monopoli becomes a place suspended between reality and wonder.
In this photo, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (the square where my atelier is located) transforms into a theater of lights, emotions, and awe. Thousands of people gather under the luminous architectures of Illuminandia, an intertwining of colors, geometries, and installations that seem to breathe to the rhythm of the city.
The lights design domes, arches, and sparkling trees that rise towards the night sky, creating a small enchanted universe where anything is possible. It's a widespread celebration, a collective embrace, a celebration of beauty that comes to life in the pulsating heart of the city.
My atelier amidst this magic
For me, who lives and works every day overlooking this square, Illuminandia is not just an event: it is a call to creativity, to artisanal tradition, to the wonder that I also want to bring into my clothes.
The square lights up, and with it, the eyes of people who stop in front of the shop windows light up, smiling, breathing in a moment of authentic wonder.
Every light reflected on the historic facades seems to tell a story: that of Monopoli, of its energy, of its community.
And mine too.

A Christmas dressed in emotions
Walking among these lights is like walking through a modern fairy tale.
There is a warmth that comes not only from the lights but from the people, from sharing, from feeling part of something that goes beyond a simple event. It's the magic of seeing the city transform and, in some way, transforming a little bit inside as well.
From my perspective, as an artisan and designer, this atmosphere becomes pure inspiration: colors, textures, luminous architectures that seem to weave new ideas, new capsules, new dreams.
It truly is beauty that unites!
Illuminandia Monopoli is a symbol: when the city dresses in light, we also dress in emotions... and having my atelier right here, in this extraordinary setting, is a privilege that I experience with gratitude and wonder every single day.
A Christmas like this is not just to be seen.
It is to be felt.
It is to be lived.
It is to be remembered.
